I've been faking it at my job for YEARS.

 

i actually had one of my co-workers tell me something, and then not 2 hours later i had already forgotten about it. when the lady asked me if i remembered what she told me this morning, i told her i thought she told me yesterday. if i wasnt in a union, i would have been fired a looooong time ago.

 

I have absolutely no idea why I still have a job. The only logical explanation is that my boss is actually dumber than I am.

Seriously... I get paid to take up space.

 

I dont get paid to do that, i took the initiative and did it on my own

I feel that way @ times... My goof-up reared it's head again - more of my life... I am told to quote something we have no business quoting (as in we're not authorized to - it is handled by another division) so it gets quoted wrong. Then the salesperson who handles the account's decision for dealing with it apparently was "run & hide" so now his boss is calling about it, but yet the apathy remains as he was all "cheif wiggum" like about it...

I just found the most perfect job for me through LinkedIn. The person who posted it is a contact of one of my professors so I am hoping that this will give me a slight edge.

The job is so perfect that it is irrelevant what they want to pay me. Hell, I'll pay them for the training at this point. I REALLY want this one.
