$$&$232rd Official Hard At Work Thread#$*^#^$
I drove the car and man was everything nice n tight.. i mean there was no play in the driveline.. the car definately feels new!!
but that damn humming noise is there... what was wierd was.. if i go straight and take right turns or if the road turns to the right.. its there... but if i take a left turn and or go reverse... it goes completely away and its dead quiet!!!!!
so i called Chris at P-tuning.. he said the cv-joints on the prop shaft is going out...and the only way to replace those is replace the whole shaft..
so i looked around and i figured since i got new hubs n bearings, new diff.. i might as well replace the axles and shaft too..
i found a 2005 s2k with only 17k miles and dood told me for the axles and prop shaft, its $310 shipped n pay paled.
this time i borrowed a snap on cordless impact wrench lol..
