I like that pic--its like nighttime it coming to get you from the right...
Years ago in HS we would wade across the river near Carderock and camp on one the islands. There are a lean-to and a nice fire pit camsite right on a next to a cliff face.

I think the island is just to the left of the one you are looking at we tried to wade to the middle one, but soon found water up to our necks.

Stupid we were in HS.

I've seen it done a few times by "experts." Easy it is not and some some special tools are pretty much necessary. As Chip point out, those propeller shaft (what Honda calls the drive shaft) bolts are a PITA. There is some unique Honda tool they sell to make it easier.

The tech who put mine back in only took him 30-45 minutes, but that was with the aforementioned tools and experience...

SHIT...

i know they can be a PITA from what i hear...

i asked because i have an 05 so i just assumed it may come off easier than the ap1's..

ben "puddydad" told me that the ap2's have thicker bolts than the ap1's do, and i dont need to remove the lower control arms to pull out the axles like the Ap1's do.

so that's why i was asking about Chip's car since i saw he had an ap2...

i hope they dont strip...
