can anyone recommend a powerful, good, yet nicely priced electric impact wrench?
Electric? Never.

is 250 tq good enough to take out alot of things on the car?!
Yes. It may struglle a little bit with an axle nut, but it can take care of it. The thing is that you can't fit an impact gun everywhere you might want. My cordless is 300 lbs-ft.

No. Pneumatic is the way to go for impact wrenches.
But requires a compressor. Man is crying about not having anywhere to store tools. What makes you think he can hide a compressor?!

wow this one said 345 tq..

i read some of the reviews on the craftsman.. one said they couldnt barely break a lug nut that was 110 tq lol...
I have one of those... Works quite well. It will even spin off axle nuts. Has also proven to be very handy to remove rusted fasteners on my Heep.

It is not as good as a pneumatic impact gun but it gets the job done.
