Of course, if the news media had broadcast the REST of that quote, taken IN CONTEXT, there would never have been such a blow-up about this botched joke. He should never have apologized or needed to... Not really defending Kerry here, but rather the mis-stated truth surrounding this silly news story.

It was a stupid move by Kerry even taken in context. When you are speaking in public ,especially during election time you have to be more careful.
