Do you think it'll be good for a ride tomorrow afternoon?

I assume so, but it's been years since I've ridden within a few days of a big storm, and I can't remember how quickly the trails firm up again.
With as hot and dry as it has been the trails should be fine with the exception of a few puddles or low areas.

Cool. I'll probably hit Schaefer tomorrow afternoon. (Or tomorrow morning if I don't end up at the Air & Space Museum).

If anybody would like to join me, let me know, and I'll get in touch with you tomorrow when I know what time I'll be there.

Looking ahead to the upcoming short days of fall, are there any decent lights for less than $100? Preferably something helmet mounted, I think.

Are you even allowed to ride at Schaefer after sunset?

Really ate it at Schaefer today. I'm not sure what happened. My right front wheel plowed in a turn and I went over the handle bars on the narrow rocky downhill section if you go right from the parking lot on the white trail.

luckily my face broke my fall. Big impact on my chin. Some cuts on my chin, and it hurts my jaw to chew, but it could've been worse. Could've easily bitten through my tongue or needed stitches on my chin.

Ouch.

I had a few of those in 2008. The pain last longer when you are

Sorry tohear Matt. Chicks gig scars though, remember.

I'm an advocate for full face at the tougher trails. I haven't even bothered with a shell at Wakefield this year but suppose I should.
