Random story:

So last night after the bangin' East Coast Boost meet (I'm being sarcastic) I went over to Fair Oaks mall. That's right, it's the magical time of year I try to get rid of debt with a second job. After wandering around aimlessly and picking up a few applications for places I figured I could get away with doing the least amount of work, I saw American Eagle. It was pretty much the only store in the mall without a hiring sign up. I walked in and talked to the first woman I saw (who ended up being the hiring manager). After about 5-10 mins she asks if I would have time for an on the spot interview.

A few highlights:

She seemed unsure of my ability to sell anything so she handed me a pen and said "sell me this pen." I looked at her like she was an idiot and looked around the store real quickly. I spotted a rack of bras and told her "How about I sell you a bra instead?"
-"Why don't you start with the pen?" (her face starting to get red)
-"I know a lot more about bras then pens"
-"Just sell me the pen!" (her face VERY red)

She kept talking to me and referring to how old I was. Now....I know the average employee there was pretty young, but is 26 THAT old?!?

Her - "I think the older women who shop here might like seeing a guy like you around, would you have a problem flirting with them if I asked you to?"
- "No problem, but I'm not flirting with an ugly woman no matter what"
- "Okay....on the other end of the spectrum I'd expect you to flirt (meant to say talk) with the 14 yr old girls who come in here"
- "Look lady, I'm not into that sorta thing"

Anyways....I was told to go back monday and it sounds like the job is mine if I want it. Just wanted to share that random funny with you all.
