I got hired by Bearing Point Consulting. Yes indeed no more ABC. I will however, have to stop my reverse commute and head into the beast that is DC.

During my job search I knew I would not take a new job unless I would be able to quit the ABC store. My security clearance came through big time and landed a pretty sweet gig.

I will also go from wearing flip-flops and a baseball hat to work every day to wearing a suit 5 days a week. I guess that means I need to shave everyday as well But I am kind of looking forward to it in a strange way. Ive been pretty down about my current job and I think this change in both dress and work load will have a positive influence on myself and feeling good about what I do everyday.

As far as the commute. Im not worried. Stef works right next to the Vienna metro and will drop me off in the mornings and pick me up at night. My daily commute will be longer but not by too much. Plus I get to leave the car in the garage during the week. This is considering I put 25k on my car since last june.

I'd offer you some of my suits (I have a whole closet full of em from a gig I had about 5 years ago) but, somehow, I doubt they will fit...
