I recieved the beta code(for 360) Thursday, and was only able to play a few hours(they shut the beta down early yesterday). This game is AMAZING!! I'm a complete COD4 fanboy, but after playing only a few maps and using a few guns on COD5, I am realizing that this game is better than COD4.

They still have things similar to the red dot and akog(sp?) scopes, but a little different. Much more guns to choose from also. The graphics are awesome, maybe a bit better than the previous one. They really payed attention to the details in this one. Body parts fly off during artillery strikes and there is a ton more blood. My favorite part was when I ran up on a guy, blew him away with a shotgun, and his arm departed his body and blood was squirting all over the place.

The dogs are scary(when they're not yours). Trying to kill some guys and worry about 3-5 dogs on your 6 is nearly impossible. You do recieve points for killing them(3).

I can go on talking about my few hours with this game, but I won't. My advice, GET IT!

 

Is it Modern or WWII again? WWII right?

I'll probably get it just because i liked COD4 so much, but i wish they had stayed with the modern theme.

LOL, GTA is still a badass game, but I never play it cause I'm always playing COD4.

 

Yeah, it takes place during WWII, in Russia and Japan.

They've done a lot to the game to make it very dirty and violent. For example, the amount of swearing is crazy. F this, F that, etc. etc. The blood is much better now. And, no matter guy you're playing as, your hands are always cut up and bloody. It just gives more of a feel like you're in combat.
