Unhappy I need convincing...

...to NOT buy anythign from this person:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=385845

I REALLY want that HT. Theyd look sooo sweet with my CF mirrors. And I'd probably drive up there to get it. But realistically, I know I cant afford it and I dont want to be paying off a credit card. And I'd definitely like to be doing other fun stuff than just sitting in my car, in the garage because I cant afford anything because I'm paying off my card.

Soooo, what do you guys do to resist the temptation? Or do you just end up getting thigns you cant afford anyway? HELP... please?

I used to end up getting stuff I couldn't afford. I've spent the last 1.5 years struggling with this. In the last year I've gone from $5000+ combined balance to owing just $400 on one remaining card. (With the exception of my Best Buy card, 12month interest free sonnnn!!)

I can't tell you how much its has cost me in interest at ~19.5% APR. But I will tell you that for a while, the amount of interest I was accruing each month was about 70% of the payment itself.

Don't get caught up in it.. it's too easy.

I'm very surprised by the 5-0 vote so far.

if you can't afford it don't do it.... i've seen many people on here buying things they can't afford and next thing you know they are selling everything off their cars, or you see a post saying, "i have to sell my car yada yada yada... "
