Yes sir, dont know what Harford County's problem is, but most jurisdictions are frothing at the bit to train on live burns.

MoCo has one too, with a few buildings and a massive tower... right off Rt 28 in Rockville across from Travillah Square.

Many jurisdictions do, but the tower is just that, the tower. Masonry, the same drill over and over again. Live burns in residences are better and more variable.

My colleague is the VP of the local volunteer FD. They do training burns all the time. It is typically how we demo any houses on the lots we buy.

I am really surprised that the local FD isn't interested, B... From what I understand from the guy I work with, they prefer this sort of arrangement. As Zeke pointed out, it is infinitely more realistic.
