lol @ you and evan comparing TA with Warcraft...

 

In Warcraft 3 you level up your heroes, but in Warlords Battlecry 2 & 3 you only really level up your main character (and a select few heroes) which you carry from battle to battle. I like it a lot better. RPG/CIV and RTS all in one!

Oh, Age of Wonders was a good RTS too

 

I prefer the scouting/resourcing/countering strategies than leveling up guys in my RTS games - to each his own I suppose.

I love hundreds of units all fighting each other on the same field

 

so I am gtfo'ing.
