I've recently been digging on the bourbons - Maker's Mark, Elijah Craig 12yo, something else I just picked up...

For something creamy, sweet and oh sooo tasty, try some Amarula.

 

which reminds me... the restaurant/bar in g'town, called Bourbon aptly enough - 90 different bourbons available. sign up to work your way through all of 'em and get your name on a plaque on the wall...

 

ahhhh $50 tab for 4 people all drunk... nothing better than that.

my drunk contribution for tonight - i tended bar for a friend's party tonight and it kicked the arse! Drinks were a massive success and the experience was awesome.

I also discovered the Hawaiian Punch. Tastes JUST LIKE Hawaiian Punch:

- 2oz OJ
- 2oz Pineapple Juice
- .5oz vodka
- .5oz rum
- .5oz amaretto
- .5oz creme de banana (banana liqueur)
- 1.5oz grenadine syrup

shake with ice... mmmmm!!!

My other hit of the night was the Vodka Meringue (did I post the recipe? who cares)
- 2oz lemon vodka
- .5oz midori melon
- .5oz cointreau/triple sec/orange curacao
- .5oz lemon juice
- 1.5oz pineapple juice

shake like mad with ice... very very popular drink.

myself, i like manhattans and old fashioneds, but whatcha gonna do?
