I should be able to get you a better price for a local dealer though, just let me know.
I might do that... but it's not high on my want/need list.

Anytime bud! By the way, that o2 sensor I gave you is set up to run a test pipe. It has the mechanical o2 sensor cel trick already on it!

When you install it - put it in the test pipe first, then plug it in. That way the line doesn't get all twisted.

No test pipe here...

although I have a question about that (more directed to any MD'ers in the o.g. hizouse). If I am running a test pipe with a fouler, that would show normal levels to the ECU right? So when I went to vehicle emissions, it would come up as normal readout?

If your check engine light isn't on, your ECU is reading things as normal.

That's what I was thinking, thanks for the confirmation though.

As I have never had any type of emissions testing I am not too sure exactly how they work. However, if it is the way that I have been told where they connect to your ECU - you should be fine! The Spark Plug Fouler trick is designed to pull the o2 sensor away from the exhaust flow causing it to give a normal reading!

Yup, that's how they do it. I got it done about 4 years ago or whatever and then about two years ago they tried to and failed me because the car was too low, but they gave me a two year extension. 1/07

Just wondering... what would happen if you change the car back to stock, get it to pass emissions and then put your aftermarket parts back on the car?

That is what a lot of locals in this area do for state inspections.

My problem wasn't with the test itself, but with the height of my car. They say I wouldn't be able to make it over the dyno rollers to the other side where the ECU OBDII is. No biggie to me
