You'd be suprised how much extra cash you can save when you're not drinking away your wallet every weekend!

I find that I save a ton more money when I don't go out to eat lunch/dinner every day

Yeah - I tried that. Ramen noodles gets real old after about a week.

Here's what I do sometimes to be cheap, if you're not into actually cooking.

a) get a box of spaghetti (or ziti). A box should last you a few meals and will stay in the fridge for a while

b) turkey and bologna sandwiches FTW

c) order extra pizza for dinner, typically an XL pie is only about $1 more than a L. Take extra slices to work

d) nuke a hotdog in the microwave for about 1 minute (maybe 1:10).

One of my favorite things to do is actually go a bit further with (a) and get some tomato sauce and some ricotta cheese and some mozarella cheese. Boil the ziti/spaghetti/whatever. Throw it into a tin casserole pan with tomato sauce, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. Stir it all up until it turns orange-ish. Put in the oven for about 30+ mins. Voila. You not have baked ziti for the whole week

After I started getting tired of ramen noodles, I started bringing standard PBJ sandwiches to work. That got old just as fast...

Real good idea on the last one though, I love baked ziti - plus it sounds pretty inexpensive. Didn't even think of hot dog idea.

Yea box of pasta = $1, tomato sauce = 3 cans for $1, tin tray < $1, Ricotta cheese ~$1.50, Mozzarella cheese ~$1.50
So let's say $7 (since I'm just guesstimating), you can have yourself at least 3 meals (if you're a superfatass).

- That's not too shabby of an idea. I need to run by the store after work tonight anyways, may pick up some things!

Good looking out Evan!
