Sova Chat Thread ver. II
First, congrats on the pending marriage! You're in for a whole lot of other expenses that are going to make the car take a backseat. Owning a home is a whole different experience entirely. I've dropped turbo kits and whole S2000 money in home improvement projects (bathroom remodels, new windows, additions, decks, etc). If I were single and living in a condo somewhere, I'd be rolling a Porsche right now, lol.
Second, you absolutely should have kept those CEs. I really liked my CEs too, but they were the wrong size and wrong color. I'm hoping to come across a nice set of 17" Mercury Silver CEs or REs, but all wheel upgrades are on hold til next summer at the earliest. In fact, unless I can sell my current wheels and get at least 75% of what I paid for them, I'm likely just going to roll with what I have.

I'm sure it'll be quite the experience and the car spending will come to a screeching halt. Neither of us own a lot of furniture or basically anything to fill a house.
I've made some effort to try and track down those CE28s and buy the current owner out but can't find who has them now. There is a set of RE30s I have my eyes on that I almost pulled the trigger on and then I changed my mind. Still trying to figure out exactly how I feel about them. Despite how played out they might be I like my rpf1s and also how easily replaceable they are. Plus for all the extra I'll spend on wheels I can have the gears and my rpf1s, or maybe even a front lip. I see my available car spending dwindling away so I figure if I can knock out the big expensive things I want now it'll be a lot easier to pick up the smaller items later. I'm pretty sure if I don't get the nicer wheels now I never will.

Yes. Forget saving for the marriage. Your mission should be to buy every freaking car part you can get your hands on now, because in the future, every dollar you spend on your car, you'll have to spend at least $2 on something the wife wants for the house.
Don't even ASK me how much I had to spend to convince the wife that I should buy a turbo kit.

I think I'm going to pass on the gears for now. I just don't feel like messing with all of that. I might end up picking up an exhaust. I remember how much more I enjoyed driving my first s2k when it made noise. I wish the new Berk single looked a little better on the ap2 bumper or someone needs to come up off a 70em single.
My ap2 front is a little beat up anyways. Doubt anyone realllly wants it. As long as I have the stock exhaust I'll be keeping the ap2 rear. And if I did get an ap1 I wouldn't do an exhaust cap. Looks more racecar without one. That's the ricer in me

Kevin, you're scaring the crap out of me!
Vania and I are in the process of buying a house out here in Cali.....
