I've just about reached the end of the internet reading about open loop and closed loop A/F operation, LTFT, STFT, stoichiometry, and anything else I could find. Not that I know how to actually tune anything, but at least I'll know what the tuner is doing. I'm headed up to watch EJ get his car tuned on Monday, and depending on what my AFRs are after my wideband is installed, I may have my tune tweaked as well.

I know I'm being super picky about my car, but still, I think the tune I got was good, but it could be better. I shouldn't have a CEL after my tune. I'm PM'ing you to keep this out of the thread, but I don't want to badmouth a tuner unless it is warranted, and right now I don't know if it is warranted.

Thanks for the suggestions on the single exhausts. Installed an ASM 70mm single exhaust that I picked up used from an S2ki member on the AP2 yesterday. The good - it is really quiet, does not drone, and hopefully will allow the car to make more power. The bad - I miss the sound of the HKS duals (to me that is still the best sounding exhaust on these cars) and I need to fill the extra hole in the rear of the car.
The HKS exhaust has been added to my for sale thread if you know anybody that may want it. If anybody has an OEM AP1 rear bumper that they want to get rid of let me know. Color is not important.

Mike, the good news is that you have another S2K with the HKS to still enjoy the sound. I love my HKS, and even though I know I'd make more power switching to a single, I don't wanna! LOL.

EJ - I can't do that to Pete while he is out on the boat. I'll just wait until he gets tired of it and buys another rear bumper. Wait a minute, yours is GPW. When does that truck leave?

Kevin - Yes, I'm very thankful for that luxury. I made a couple of full power 2nd & 3rd gear runs in the AP2 today. The ASM exhaust sounds pretty good above 5K. It may sound even better with the HFC. I'll know for sure after I change the fuel pump and get it re-tuned.
