Hai Guyzzzz

It was finally nice enough this morning to ride to work with the top down. First time the top has been down in over a week! Felt so good. Reminds me why I don't need a HT.

Has anyone ever had the rear "H" shaved/painted before? Curious on how much the typical price for the job is. I'd prefer to take it to Stock or Modified just because I've had a few things painted by Joey, and his work is awesome.
I looked into this when I first got my S2000 back in 06. For the amount of work needed to be done, it's not worth the hassle.

What I was told is that you have to get the whole trunk lid repainted, and then blend in the fenders and rear bumper.

^If you've got a color like yours that is a huge pain to blend. I'd be willing to bet it could be blended at just the very back of the trunk and because it's between two taillights it doesn't even have to match as it won't directly touch anything other than the rear bumper. Having the edge of going from top of trunk to back up trunk plus the size of the 3rd brake light should help blending as well. Or just what I'd think. I'd be curious to ask the guy that did my paint work the same question.....

Believe me I still want one but today was one of those days driving when I was glad I could put the top down. I'd say 95% of the time I drive I'd be more than happy if the car was just a coupe. One day I'll get a HT and take out the soft top.
