They only look like that when you video them.. Scan lines show up and make the screens look horrible. Same as when you trie to use a video camera and point it at a regular TV..same effect. Strobe light effect, you can't precieve 365 or more scan lines, but the camera only captures every tenth of a second, so it catches the scan lines......
