J it's just car wash. I'm sure you spritz with Z-6 or whatever the quick detailer from Zaino is after you wash it anyway.

You can always dump z-whatever into some regular non-wax containing car wash and have pretty much the same thing as Sal sells you.

Yeah I know I can order online but I hate paying the shipping for just one bottle

Thanks for the offer
Here's a novel idea: BUY A YEAR'S SUPPLY!

Using a non-Zaino product does not hurt your car's finish, J. Or does it? Maybe that's why my engine got an ouchie!

Do not use Dawn liquid detergent on your car unless you WANT to strip the wax off your car.

You can use any car wash soap on your car with similar results to what Zaino Car wash does. So if you're just looking for a wash and you dont mind using something else ... Even a bottle of the cheap stuff should work fine.

That said, I use Zaino Car wash all the time

Ryan, the Dawn goes without saying, BUT...

... Dawn won't actually take Zaino polish off. It's a polish, not a wax. The real problem with Dawn and the like is that it's abrasive.

Or another idea... why not start a small, quick GB for locals only(MD-area) so as to order 12 bottles. At that quantity, I believe there isa price break.

J, I was in a similar predicament as you and decided just to pick up some Meguiar's car wash at Target (still had enough of the other Zaino products so only needed the car wash). Surprisingly, I like the Meguiar's car wash soap better than Zaino's -- it's much sudsier (is that a word?) and stays sudsy longer. It doesn't have as fragrant a smell, but otherwise works as good if not better IMHO and you get alot more for your money. I dunno, maybe give it a shot, it'll only set you back like $5 or so, and if you don't like it you can always go back to Zaino car wash next time. Under the circumstances, I think your baby will understand

For the other stuff, I still swear by Zaino

I've had to use NXT in a pinch.

For the record, I do use Zaino products... just not exclusively.
