01' S in 2010.....
It looks like my request to get stationed back in South Korea went through. I'm scheduled to leave the island sometime in Sept-Nov. I've been having lots of thoughts about what I should do with my car. Couple of ideas.....
1. Sell the car, I'll save up money since I won't have a car payment and when I return back to the states either in 2009 or 2010 look for something new. (Hopefully M3)
2. Store the car, continue to make payments on it. I'll have a paid off roadster to drive when I return a few years from now. And most likely get a truck...
3. Store the car, continue to make payments on it. I'll have it paid off by the time I return. At the same time save up for a supercharger or turbo.
*Only bad thing about saving the car until 2010, this car isn't going to be as nice and appealing to the eye since really nice cars are coming out every year.
Any other suggestions or tips????
I'm leaning heavily on #1..... does that idea sound the smartest.....

how much more to pay it off? sounds like #1 to me.
as for using a 10yr old car, unless a car is really old (like my 65 mustang), they don't have that much appeal. UNLESS, you think that they'll never again make a great handling, 2800lb,240hp,9000rpm roadster that looks as good as ours. but i could be wrong, look at the NSX. over 10yrs old and still sexy as hell.

After reading your opinions and a long discussion with the wife. I think I'm going to have to go with #1.
It was fun to own the S. I just pray I can get a decent amount for the car when I'm ready to sell.
Thanks for your input....
