Default ap1--> ap2 conversion

not looking to do the full conversion just want to swap my ap1 bumper for an ap2 and keep my ap1 headlights. Is this possible? I was told that the ap2 lights are longer and narrower than the ap1s but i have seen a number of ap1-->ap2 bumper conversions here on the forums or am i mistaken? If possible what will i need or is it a swap for swap conversion. I was also told that the ap1 ballast will not fit with the bumper and needs to be replaced or mounted differently. Been getting a lot of different input. Would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. And if you know anyone selling an ap2 bumper preferrably in silverstone.

guess that answered my question. so no real mods except for the possible splash guards (which i take from reading certains posts are not necessary) and the cutting of the bumper bar? In that case anyone know anyone selling a cheap ap2 bumper in silverstone? Willing to pay cash or trade.

Mine was done by the previous owner, he ordered the parts directly from honda, just the bumper, installed and then realized he didn't have the center black thing. Don't forget you will also need the black plastic center thing in the middle, or you could do your own deal with mesh or whatever. Up to you. But yeah, no headlight mods are really needed. The bumper makes your cars overall length a little longer, and the way it's cut, it makes the headlights look longer, but it's just a visual deception

its pretty easy...the one thing that i forgot was the brackets on the inside of the hood. the ones that are covered by the rubber that prevents rain.
