ASM parts
just to let you guys know, certain JDM braces will not fit on the USDM MY06+ body styles. The floorpans are different heights on the driver and passenger sides. Taka is the only person i know with a 05 so maybe he can let me us know if the 05 has the newer uneven floorpan or older ap1 floorpan.
As far as i know the spoon center brace and the ASM rear lower GT bar DO NOT fit on the MY06+
Hope this helps. Been a lurker for so long i figure it may be time to help someone else out before they buy stuff that doesn't fit.

this is due to the passenger airbag sensor correct? my06+ s2ks have this built into the passenger seat
i know they have separated cages due to fitment in these years:

The ASM bar is totally flat, so it would be flush on the driver side but off by about an inch height wise on the passenger side. Length should be okay, i would need to get it on a lift to really see how off it is. Lying under my car in the driveway doesn't really give me the chance to mock everything up. I know for sure it doesn't line up because of the difference in the floorpan, but length may be a problem too. How busy are you guys at Sonic?

I'm not sure why honda did this. I'm sure they could have made the seat sensors work with the older floorpan. They're just being retards about it. However this would be the reason why some interior bits, like the roll cage, don't fit if they came from the early model.

Yah I dunno why it was changed to that extent. Seems to me the my06+ had all these tweaks. Like suspension upgrade issues and brake line differences. Things I've been finding out as I mod my 07..
I hope to see more adjustments made in the future

brake lines aren't that much of a problem now, everyone makes the fittings for them now. This damn floorpan kinda pisses me off.
Bouford: That jack trick only works if your tunnel has slightly deformed over the years. It doesn't work for the AP2 since it's not even the same height anymore.
