Default Beware!

i got pulled over at piikoi and alamoana. there was a team of four officers, on foot. no seat belt and no front plate. they had two people ticketed when they got me and they got two more while i was waiting for my ticket to be written.

I have seen so many cops doing this at stop lights and areas where cars come to a stop. My wife said she heard something saying they are going to be doing this till June 3rd or later. I can't believe they got you for no front plate.

I'm sure they woudn't have bothered with you on the plate issue if they weren't already stopping you for no seatbelt. That sucks, but at least its not as bad as my "failure to yield" ticket a few months ago.

that sucks! they shouldnt ticket for no seat belt. thats like getting a ticket for not wearing a helmet on a bicycle or motorcycle. it should be your choice. but i always wear mine cuz it feels weird if i dont

I guess I should find a detour home then! The most ridiculous ticket I got was for the Safety Check Sticker in the wrong place (on the license plate). That was a fricken $187 fine! Thanks for the heads up Kent and sorry to hear!

that was the most expensive breakfast we ever had.

we were leaving ala moana and kent always goes down towards ala moana blvd instead of cutting through the mall exiting by blockbuster. it always takes forever when there's traffic so it's faster to go through the mall.

the supportive girlfriend in me had to hold me back from saying "i told you so"

i got that ticket too, but mines was $270 - fradulent use of plates. and i also got my plate and safety taken away.

its click it or ticket time. so hot out especially in town. the cops jump out of no where! i've gotten pulled over so many times by cops on foot! once 3ft away from my drive way!
