Default Which clutch and flywheel?

Well, my car is over 4 years old now, and after all the autocrosses, I think my clutch is finally going. I'm looking at replacing the flywheel at the same time with something lighter and am looking for any suggestions/recommendations.

I haven't really kept up recently with what's out there, but the last I heard was that the Toda was lighter, but couldn't be resurfaced, whereas the Comptech was a little heavier, but had better driveability and could be resurfaced.
This is all greek to me, as I don't know how often a resurfacing is necessary, if at all. And my driveability factor is probably not a concern as it is slowly becoming a track car anyway.
As for clutches, I'm getting some really mixed reviews and am thoroughly confused.
Any of our more technical guys got some advice? Thanks in advance.

wow so your stock clutch lasted 4yrs even with all the autocrossing? i think you should check out the clutch and flywheel package from hardtopguy. seems like a lot of ppl on the board lean towards that setup. that's probably what i'm gonna get when my clutch goes.

well resurfacing flywheels are only needed when replacing clutch. so if you plan on changing fly everytime you change clutch then resurfacing is of no concern. how about a D-core carbon clutch from exedy the D stands apparantly for dampener so its real streetable.

oh boy. I was browsing the technical sections and threads related to clutch and flywheel.
There's a myriad of choices. I guess that's better than the early days of owning the S when there was only 2 or 3 choices.

Let's see, we've got:
Mugen pressure plate with oem disk
ACT PP and disk
Toda PP and disk
Exedy PP and disk
ORC complete system with flywheel (this is big ballers dollars though, so not really an option)
Comptech PP and disk
Centerforce PP and disk

And any combination of the above (phew!)

Flywheel choices were only Spoon, Toda, or Comptech as far as I could see.
Gotta start studying...

update: My clutch was further gone than I thought. I had to order my clutch already and it should be here by the end of this week. Can anyone recommend an installer?
Colin: how about Pflueger Acura? I know labor is going to kill me though...
Mice: Do you have a way to contact Arnold? Perhaps he can do this.

Thanks,
Stephen

oh, I picked up the Mugen PP and will order the oem disk and pilot/throwout bearing from Honda. Also the Toda flywheel.

Mugen PP was $400 and flywheel $480. There was no discount, I paid full pop.
Shipping to Hawaii $87.
I've got to price the OEM disk and throwout bearing. Labor is expected to be $1000.
I'll give updates and impressions as they come.

I called Pflueger Honda to price the oem disk and throwout bearing. They said it wasn't in stock and had to be special ordered, and that their price was $146 for each (plus or minus a couple of dollars, I forget). Then I checked hardtopguy.com and they had it at $89.41 for disk and $81.42 for bearing. What a huge difference! The shipping came out to $39.97 but it was still a lot cheaper.
Now to find an installer.
Pflueger Acura, Arnold, or Sonic Motorsports...
