might as well change the line too!
why would you replace the line unless it cracking or leaking. or upgrading to a steel braided line? this makes no sense. in that case, you should replace all your rubber brake lines also. i would just change the master cylinder, and the slave only if it is leaking. no point in wasting money to change a part that is still good.

replaced it last weekend in time to test it at the track. ran into some trouble sitting the ball into the cup. They didnt align and i made a big mess, got some cuts because of all the sharp metal behind the clutch pedal. it all works fine now. i just gotta adjust the pedal to the right setting. Just gonna monitor the reservoir and make sure the levels dont change.

thats just how i am i guess... the line is like 20~30 bucks so might as well change it. my theory on clutch hydraulics is if one thing goes out such as your master, the rubber had deteriorated and all the particles ar just stuck in there tearing at all the other seals. so might as well change out the slave. and since you are taking everything off anyway just change the line. then you wont have to worry about it for the next i dunno 5-10 years?
sounds better to me than having to work on the car again for a similar problem, and risk damaging a new part you put in. plus all new parts is the best thing in the world
