Aloha!

I've been an occasional lurker on the Hawaii forum, and I love some of the pics from your meets (the Oahu meets make it to my computer background frequently). A guy posted pics from his recent trip to HI, and kent-k recommended those who were coming to visit post in the forum, so here goes.

I'll be visiting Oahu for two weeks (March 16-29), staying in the Waikiki area right beside UH. My gf goes to HPU, so she has housing on the island for me (no money needed for hotels! woohoo!!!) I'm planning on doing the usual touristy stuff that I haven't done in the past 5 years, including the PCC, surfing a little, and snorkeling. Maybe the Dole plantation too. While I'm there though, my gf will have class for all but a few days.

Are you guys planning any meets on the island in that time? It would be cool to meet some of you guys and chill a little. Unfortunately, it would be hard to cruise with you guys because I won't have an s2k on the island

Do you guys have any suggestions on where to go on the island for fun and food? I want to get some good poke at a local place if anyone knows of one, and I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Any other activities I should try while I'm there?

anyway, we're the biggest procrastinators when it comes to planning stuff, so we'll probably finalize plans on the 16th. bump this thread up when it's closer to your arrival.

 

how bout we go on a cruise and ben can bring the poke! kill 2 birds with one stone!

 

haha... sinfuL, im not exactly a male model... especially since school food has fattened me up and papers have kept me on the computer instead of hitting the gym

I'll be sure to bump this when I get closer to coming over! For now, I guess I'll continue lurking
