Ever see people who open their vehicle door by kicking it open? Usually right into the door of the vehicle parked next to them.

I had a very close call today in the Fed EX parking lot on Lagoon Dr. I was parked away from everyone else and had just gotten back to my car. A female driver pulled up next to my passenger side to park. Why? There where five empty stalls between me and the door to Fed Ex. My gut feeling told me to get out of there quickly. Damn the car wouldn't go into reverse. The front of my car just cleared the rear edge of her front door and her door flew open into my stall powered with her left leg.

I hate those kind of people. No respect for other peoples property.

 

ha ha! How typical. Mike is always prepared, and avoids another potential incident.
Most other posters would be like " I was sitting in my car, changing the CD, and the lady pulls into the stall and flies open her door into mine!"

Good job of avoiding that one.

 

yea i had a similar incedent when my car was only like a week young. but i just got out of my car at the bank, and old man in a jag shows up next to me, i was watching him open the door and he just whipped it open plus it was a down slope and just misses my door by 2 inches. i almost went back and yelled at him but i thought whatever, didnt actually hit my car. but if it did!!! i would have been like "buy me a new one!!!"

 

people who don't respect other people's stuff just peeves me to no extent. if someone did that to me, i'd be tempted to kick their face into the door.

 

I'm thought this kind of stuff only happens to me. Seems there are a whole lot of them "DOOR KICKERS" out there.

 

I've seen a lot these incidents happen in the parking lot. What scares me is that when a car parks next to me and when I see kids inside, it just scares me.
Don't you also hate it when you are getting ur car and a car park so close that you can't even get in from the drivers door. One time I was driving my brother's old car and it happened to me so I went in from the passenger's side and I opened the drivers door real hard to give that car a big dent.
