Default Dyno's in Hawaii

Does anyone know if there are any dyno's in Hawaii? Now that I'm starting to mod my car, I'd like to see if I can measure any gains. Thanks

No problem, glad to help. Remember dyno in 4th gear not 3rd as some folks have done.

I checked out Naka's Car Care (Allen Nakamura) right near Tony Honda and across from 7-Eleven. His price is $125 including air/fuel, but he will give car club folks a price of $55.00 plus $15.00 for air/fuel mix if 5 cars are done. Each car would take about an hour. I'm still considering doing my fuelie rather than the S2k.

fuelie: I'm in. If you're interested, that makes 2. I think it will be tough to find 3 other participants though, since everyone is stock set-up anyway. $125 is steep, but the $70 I would do...

You might try Speedline the owner there is Kazu. They do a lot of turbo honda mod and am sure he would know where the best dyno shops are. Unfortunately, I do not have his #, but he used to be near Kilgos' near the Airport. I'm sure 411 will have his listing. If you cant find his number please let me know, I can find it out for you.

Let him know David with the Built MR2 from Cali recomended you there. He is very knowlegable and honest with his pricing. Hope this helps. Gosh I miss Hawaii

Good luck,
David

Hey,

If you want to dyno your car you should check out Dyno Jet Hawaii. Me and my fellow Prelude Hawaii guys go there. It's 50 an hour, additional 15 if you need to use the A/F meter. He also does group discount ie 350 or so for a 8 hr block. But you have to schedule a time with him. He's a really cool guy, very informative and such.

Ohh, hey Colin this is Andrew from the Autocross (Blk Prelude). I'm still counting the days till I can get a stinkin S2000! I went to the drift session they had at HRP and boy riding in a RWD car was soo much fun!
