You probably don't remember me posting up a couple months ago that I was moving out to hawaii, but now I finally got my orders and will be out there Oct 22. Just saying hi again and looking forward to meeting you guys at some meets or auto-x's......

Any auto-xers out there got tips for a suspension setup? I have manged to keep it stock these last few months since I knew an aftermarket setup would be a bitch to register over there, so how do you go about it?? Do you get away with swapping out the suspension after the test? Could I get a recon sticker for something else then lower it???

Anyways stoked to be living out there for 4 years at least!

definitely will, I have meet a lot of great people at the florida meets and gotten a lot of fun activities and cheap used parts out of it, great way to meet new friends and hookups when moving to new places!!

 

i thought i seen you in waikiki, it was a s2 with colordo plates, but i guess it wasn't you..

There's 2 of us on here that run Auto-X, give or take. Another guy never posts. But I'll be your Auto-X buddy since I go to all of them. As far as suspension. If you want to stay in A-Stock. your only real choice is to get some Koni Yellow Dampers and used thouse with stock springs. Konis have lowering perches s you can lower you car close to .5 inch but that's it.. if you wanna do coilovers, talk to all these other fools and they can set you up.. there's some buddy clubs for sale in the for sale thread. well i am already bsp due to my mods so I am just looking to have fun but still put down the best times I can. I was thinking more like what are my choices for suspension, while somehow passing safety inspection out there.....you guys just do the stock swap for inspections?

 

my car is lowered about 1-1.5 inches and i have passed everywhere.
