Talking First time in Hawaii!

So my trip to Hawaii is nearing and was wondering if there are any veterans here that would enlighten me on places to go things to see I know there's a hawt Ramen joint in Kauai (http://www.yelp.com/biz/hamura-saimin-stan...rch/query:ramen) Other than that, I've got a luau lined up in Maui. Planning on doing some snorkeling, hiking, sight seeing, touring. Any input is appreciated

What I have packed other than clothes and necessities:
Hiking Shoes
Snorkels
Fins
Water Shoes

When in Kauai, if you get a rental car (highly recommend getting one) you can rent a kayak for real cheap and kayak up the Wailua River to the Secret Falls which is simply amazing. The place me and my wife rented was in Kapaa and they gave us a map and directions to the falls. I cant wait to visit Kauai again soon. Good luck and enjoy!

Forgot to add, after you kayak up the Wailua, it's about a 1.5 mile hike to water fall wild chicken, and mango seeds everywhere.
