Well, I've finally found a set of AP2 Rims to buy from the mainland, but I'm a little tentative to buy them since we don't know if there's going to be autocross in a few months due to HRP closing. Has anyone heard anything??

There's been talk that they'll have it at the Stadium parking lot again. Otherwise, Tantalus and Pacific Heights will have to be the temporary race track.

hmmm, I haven't heard anything like that from the Lee's, but I'm sure we would jump on the opportunity for the stadium if they would allow it. I know they've been trying, but keep getting denied.
It will really really suck for me (and all the regular autocrossers) if they don't open up another venue.
I'll have to go and make a kid or something to keep me from becoming bored to death.

Well by talk I meant people have brought it up. I have no idea about the stadium though.

Ok screw it....I'm buying the wheels. If I order some tires too I'll have it all just in time for runoffs. Heh Heh Heh. No more 11th or 12th place finishes for me.

Well...I went ahead and bought the rims despite the track's upcoming closing. I'm planning to keep this car for a long time, so I had to get another set of rims sometime. Now I need to figure out what rubber to wrap them with.....

Looks like my 2 choices are Kumho Victoracer 225/45/17F 255/40/17R or Kumho V710 245/45/17 F 275/40/17R. The V710's would really be pushing it on the max tire size for those rims though. What's everyone think?

So who's all going to show up to the Feb 5th Auto-X? Probably only 2 chances ever left to autocross there. Let's see a bunch of S2K's there!!!
