Default Gas stations on Oahu

Hey eveyone
Saw a topic like this on some other fourms. Just seeing who you guys like to you gas from and the reason you like the gas from them.
Ive been thinking about this alot because living on a military base we do get good prices on gas but it is really worth the savings?
With in the last month ive had a few friends have to have there gas tank drained do to having water mixed in with the fuel making the car bog down.
When i asked they alwasys buy gas for there car's from base. Maybe this was just a one time thing or a bad shipment of gas. Makes one think about what they are putting into a tank. Just wondering what you guys have to say. Thanks

IIRC all the gas on Oahu comes from either Tesoro or Chevron, so do you think it's a problem with the gas stations themselves?

It could be just a problem with the gas station. It could have just been a one time thing. From what some people say about the gas stations on a military base that like alot of stuff the military does, they give the job to the lowest bidder. Now the gas my not be bad because its coming from he lowest bidder to get the job done or it may not. Just wanted to really see if anyone have there own opinion on the topic. I can say water mixed with fuel is a bad day for your engine.

I get my gas from the gas station on Schofield and the one on the side of the NEX. the few times ive gotten gas by the Mcdonalds side near the NEX, my car seemed to run better. Not sure how to explain it. but with the full tank from there, my car seemed more... lively? might just be me though
