Default Getting taken for

I recently purchased a car cover from someone online and I don't think that he was truly honest about the condition of the cover and now I don't think that he is going to send it to me. What are my options if he doesn't send it to me but has already recieved and excepted my money for the cover? I sent him the money on Friday 11 Jun and he had all weekends and I gave him monday to send it out and then send me a reply with the tracking number. Do you think im being paranoid about it, and should I give him more time to send it out or should I try and do something about it if there is something I can do???????

Please let me know my options if any of you know what I can do. THANKS

I paid for it through paypal...I did get what ever name he had for paypal where you send the money to. I did recieve an email from him today about sending the cover out on Monday. There wasn't a tracking number included in the email so I guess i'll give it a week and then give joey rivera a call and see what type of advice he gives me.

thanks for you advice.

I understand your frustration. I hate when people take their sweet 'ol time to send stuff when they've already been paid.
I think you're in good shape considering you paid by PayPal. If I remember correctly, you can file a complaint with PayPal via e-mail and they will initiate an investigation. That person can lose their rights to use PayPal if it is found that he defrauded you. I think PayPal will also cover some of the losses (up to a certain amount).
I don't think that you've reached the minimum wait time to file yet though. I would wait at least a week before trying. Chances are the seller is just not being prompt.
Good luck!

Steve is correct. Had someone do the same thing to me. Filled a report with PayPal and my money was refunded. PayPal is pretty good dealing with fraudulent sellers. Take Steve's advice and give it a week. In the meantime, stay in touch with the seller and insist you get a tracking number. Bomb him with a couple of emails a day.

I got the car cover, thanks for the advise. I will keep all this in mind just incase I do buy from another buyer on-line and do get screwed.

Glad to have the cover. I was wondering though, does it come with a case?
