Default hey colin

how did you like the race? i missed it completely. i don't know why, but i thought it was going to be this weekend. damn, now my winning streak is messed up. did you run the big block with the 6 cells? let me know if you need help setting it up. i guess there is a race this sunday daytime? i am trying to find out the time. i may bring out my crazy setup 8 cell brushless and get crazy. depends if there are kids on the track. i don't want to break their cars. i do have to test it to see if it can last 6 minute heats. b

hey colin.

are you using your old servo? that might be the reason. the hitec hs-81mg is a metal gear tiny servo. it is perfect.

wow, did you whack something? how did you break the steering? i have been using the stock steering and arm setup for all races there (until the other race where my plastic knuckle broke) but the steering itself is pretty good. i used the pan car style setup on my 2nd car that no one has seen yet because i was going to run my brushless controller down the center. my race car is still going to use the stock steering system, but with metal knuckles.

haha. that is why my car is orange. my next one will be white with something.

as far as the vcs, i modded the stock cup to fit on the vcs.

driving. it will come back in time. i should be there this sun when i find out what time it is happening. b

i am not sure where the servos are sold locally. as far as antenna mount, hobbietat has them for $4 it is the gpm in their gas section. you can drill ahole or use an open hole in the top deck. i'll post a pic of the rear so you can see what i did.

yeah, gotta watch out if you spin. the penguin chassis hooks up and has understeer like mine when you use the high roll setup. i just got my 1 way in so i should get some steering back without using tiny tires. i think the wide chassis came with the low roll setup because of the weight being focused on the 2 sides in saddle configuration, but the weight may not be enough to unstiffen the car. anyways, i would recommend the high roll setup. just wait til you get the big block in. ahh. if they only made s2k bodies. b
