Check this. Today I spent the afternoon skating at Hickam skatepark with a few friends. I have the S parked where I can keep an eye on it since kids like to skate in the parking lot sometimes. Anyways, I notice two moms with there smallish children walking to there car or whatever and I dont think to much of this.

Maybe 45 seconds later I look out again and just about shit myself. I now know the meaning of "I couldnt believe my eyes". For a moment I thought I was dreaming. It took a good 2-3 seconds for my brain to compute what I was seeing. This six, maybe seven year old kid was sitting on the hood of my car. Not just his ass, but his feet were even on the hood. By that I mean he was half way up with his butt in the center. I said yelled out "HEY". I guess the mom saw him at the sametime I did and told him to get down.

So I run out there to check for an ass dent, and by this time they are getting into there van. Lucky for her it seemd to be o.k. so I let it go. As they pulled out I was waiting for her to look over so I can give her the WTF pissed off face but she didnt.

Im cooled off now but I was so mad. Not at the kid but towards the mother. I check the car again when I got home and I think I can feel a slight impression, I cant see it, but I think I can feel one. My wife was telling me its all in my head and she might be correct. Oh well, isnt shit I can do about it now.

This is a case of what I call, "Lack of Social Competence". I think I would have shaken the shit out of the kid. I can't believe the mom, that , I can't believe she got in the van without saying anything to you. So many parents let their kids go ramped any more, there are no rules and consequences. I know when I was raised, I got my balls busted all the time for the smallest things, and I hated it, but now I understand why my parents did it. I can't stand half of the military wifes I run into, they all think they are the rank of their husbands and that they deserve that same sort of respect.
