yup, well not like directly..

i was filling up last night at that 7-11 on wilder and mccully? the road that goes down to mccully, but anyway, the guy next to me, his pump wasnt screwed on tight or something like that. so im filling up and the guy next to me starts filling up. then all of a sudden i feel like someone is spraying me with water... so i turn around and i see his hose (the part where it connects to the machine) like leaking and spraying. so after im like aaahh! haha the guy stops and apologizes and everything and goes in to tell the guy. i looked at my car but it didnt seem like it got on it... the whole ground was still wet with gasoline and my shirt was "soaked" , but it evaporated anyway. so after the guy leaves, i finish filling up, constantly watching my side where it connects to the machine. and this lady pulls up in a prius, so im thinking i should warn her about it. so after im done, she's still in the car counting her money. so i start walking to her window thinking, how am i gonna approach her without scaring her haha. so im like excuse me, and she has this scared look on her face, i can tell she was holding the door closed or something, but im telling her loudly that it's leaking, dont use it blah blah, and then she opens her door and i tell her.

so anyway i end up throwing away the shirt, plus it was old and had a puka in it. but yea, me and my gf took a drive with the top down through waikiki after to air out the car

so always make sure the thing aint leaking when you filling up gas

damn that sucks. on the bright side, at least you noticed what was happening. imagine if you got soaked then tried to light up a cig?

yea i know, that was kinda scary. i shoulda told them to buy me a new shirt, or at least a free slurpee

 

Got sprayed with avgas once.
Nothing would rinse it off.
Burned like a muthah for a long time, ruined my cloths.
Got a delux hit of strong acid last week, Have welts all over my legs.
Sometimes precautions arent enough, and safety gear fails.

 

how come you were filling gas at 7/11? there is no end to the amount of hell i catch if i don't fill anything other than chevron.

in any case, just one more reason to put the top down

 

well ive never had any problems with their gas before.. i usually use tesoro, but it jus so happen that i needed gas and that was the closest one... i thought all gasoline were the same since they all come from the same place.. i think i read something like that before, but i guess they add their own things eh?

 

i use aloha gas. i have them contracted to supply fuel for all my company's needs. gasoline, diesel, off road deisel(non road tax for the boilers and farm equipment). they give me a HUGE rebate on all fuel purchased, not at the pump but when the billing is issued every couple of weeks. never had a problem with that fuel.

chevron used to give me better mileage in my truck but i can't tell with the s cuz i'm at redline way more than i should be . it's hard to compare at that kind of inconsistent driving style.

shell used to stink a long time ago don't know if it still does.

 

i just pump shell cause i know the doods at the ward shell they are super cool.

$$$$ though! but i guess gas is expensive everywhere! i walk to werk suckas!!
