Ideas for the whip!
The ides are as follows:
1a.) Looking to get the Gram Light 57s Pro Titanium on a NFR. (possible photoshop)
2a.) Exhaust, Intake, Full Bolt Ons
3a.) Other misc items to suck up 5-6 grand (total amongst all mods)
1b.) Boost the car, FI FTW?
2b.) Can anyone here help me install a turbo / SC if i get one?
3b.) Is 5-6 grand reasonable for FI? With all labor done by "US"
4b.) What kind of horse/torque is common with ~14lb boosted S2Ks
1c.) Save my money and dont mod the car yet?

if you turbo, you will completely change the torque curve which makes it drive different. a supercharger would have close to the same "feel' as an S2000 but on crack. 5-6 for supercharging.. turbo might be more. if you start changing out head gaskets, ------hours of tuning you have to incorporate into the price as well.-------
if you want to FI then don't even waste your money on an intake, because it will be useless, so will a header. I think you should decide exactly what you want to do before you buy parts you don't need.
To answer your question though.. if you want and S2000 and TONS of HP, the only way to do it is FI. ASM is the most insane/cost no object naturally aspirated S2000 i can think of and they are only barely over 300 HP at the wheels.

if i were to do it again, i'd keep it NA. after the bolt-ons (intake, header, exhaust), i'd focus on suspension mods and weight savings. this has the most smiles
per dollar. YMMV

Personally, the key question is do you want big HP or go fast. I can appreciate HP but everyone has their own tolerance for the trade off between power, cost and reliability.
On the fast side, non-power mods in areas like weight (sprung and unsprung), gearing and suspension may give you the same benefit as HP in terms of speed. Sorry if I'm vague but I'm still learning the specifics about the S2K platform.
BTW, Kent-k's comment speaks volumes as it's the voice of experience.
