Yeah, that was simply dumb period. I'm really surprised that driver was allowed to remain standing in front of his MR2 (the skinny dude in all white). If that was my car he hit I would've used his head to bang on his car until the airbags deployed.

Taka that vid is crazy, it's a turn that people obviously overspeed into. Oahu has a lot of roads like that unfortunately.

 

I thought the owner of the VW was going to put the beatdown on the MR2 driver. That would've made a better video!

that street cam vid is wild. i wonder how many times workers have had to rreplace the sidewalk railings at the exit of that corner? some guys/gals handled it well.

 

as if those people flying around that turn in the wet isn't idiotic enough, hows the pedestrians trying to cross right there? i think they need to rename that turn to Darwin's corner.

You'd think that county would be aware of the hazards of that turn and would put either a rumble strip or some kind of speed check device (like those wide speed bumps at Pearlridge). The moped guy took a shite and was off the bike before the camera got him in view.
