Just Wondering
Sup guys, Just wanted to know if the owner of the red S2000 out by sand island that was pretty smashed up was doing ok.... Saw the S being towed on a flat.... And also while I was going to work last night about 11:45p right before the Waikele and 2nd Waipahu cut off, I'm sure there was an yellow S pulled over by some pinche cop..... Just wondering talk to you all l8er....... 2nd_Force out
I got pulled over on the 22nd at about 1130 pm by a green camaro cop. He was pretty cool. He thought I had aftermarket sidemarkers and aftermarket exhaust which I did not and I explained that too him. He then told me that he hadnt seen these types of cars before and didnt know what was legal on them. He just told me I should take my spoiler off(which I did). So I ended up getting no ticket or even a warning.

It's perfectly legal to have an aftermarket exhaust here. What you do need is an affidavit for your modifications and paperwork from the reconstructed vehicle folks stating that no recon permit is required. Some of the police can be real jerks about it.

WTF?! Why do they even check for recon for exhaust when there's never a need for one?!

Hehehe! Let me guess, were you wearing your red cap when that happened? Either way, ditch that cap when you go for a drive, it's only going to cause trouble. I think it's a requirement to have the paperwork even though you don't get a recon sticker. Two places I went to for a safety check asked for the papers as well, so it must be true.

I KNOW that it's required, but what I'm saying is WHY it's required when it's never required...uh, you know what I mean?
