lost s2000
Hi. I was on this site once before but I didn't get to attend the last, last cruise. It was back in March that I remember walking back to my car in the Ala Moana shopping center parking lot when I saw a flyer under my windshield wiper. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to that cruise. Well, I really wouldn't mind making new friends who have the same common interest. That being everyone here owns a s2000. So when is the next group meet? .....
There aren't too many drag racers here, but there are a few that are getting into autocrossing. See a few of the threads in this forum. My wife and I did a lot of autocrossing back in '98-'02 and you can see picture of that and some of our past meets on my webpage.
That's awesome. But the thought about autocrossing sounds fun. Where exactly do you and your wife go? I have seen people on Ford Island doing that while golfing. I said tracks because I have developed an addiction to the straight away pavement. I just thought maybe there was somebody out there other than myself. oh! yeah, cool pictures.
Sup AGR97,
Colin is the oldest dog with the SCCA thing driving his S2000 into very high positions amongst all the other drivers regardless of the type of car. His wife also did very well and they both have a lot of experience with other cars too. Colin recently came out of SCCA retirement to give us young puppies a taste of what he's capable of.
The S2000 regulars or "Team S2000" are...
Stephen running ASP class
Joey running ASP class
Colin running ASP class (in Stephen's car)
Jimmy (das me) running B-Stock class
We run at Hawaii Raceway Park, the same place where everyone drag races. I wish it was at Barber's Point as I felt it was more safe but super hot as it had NO SHADE. The cost to race is 20 bucks if you are a non-member, 15 bucks if you are a member of the SCCA. To spectate is free.
I'll be posting more detailed information in a future thread, in hopes of stimulating more participation from the other S2000 owners.

It sounds like I can learn alot from everyone. It seems everyone has alot of experience in different things. I could learn a thing or two. I recently bought my s2 in the beginning of this year and I have yet to understand it. Then again I would like to meet with the group at another cruise or meeting. It's sucks that I have missed 2 since I had knowledge of the s2ki.com well being.
I'll be keeping my eyes out on future theads to be posted.
