i think that is bolted down all around the thing. you need to remove the rear pannel and unbolt all of the bolts. why do you need to take it off?

you need to go and take the center tray out of the rear. you need to push on these tabs and pull the tabs out to take the tray out. i think then you have some access but you may need to take the side pannels off.

If you've never done this before, you might need to take it somewhere, I haven't disassembled this part fo the car myself, but I'd imagine its a lot of work and there will probably be clips etc. that can easily be broken. Maybe someone knows for sure?

I took all the panels out from under the soft top and trunk area, it's a pain in the ass and if you don't have a clue you'll break your panels.

I have taken it off before; once you remove the rear tray, sides, brushes, and drain you will have access. I did this with my top taken out so I am not sure if the top will hamper the removel of this part. Once you have access you have I think 10 bolts to take out of the molding before removing it. Once you remove the bolts you might have to work it off carefully with some flathead screwdrivers, careful not to pry too much, you will bend the molding if you do. Good luck.
