We won't be discussing the details of the story here, but I want to get things rolling in a new thread. Our Hero is Minimum so how does this fit?

Minimum PI

Here are the parts we need filled:

Minimum = Mark (all scenes)
Minimum's Boss = Kent (Voiceover in Scene 1, appear in Scene 4)
Nick = Hyper-X (Scene 2)
Thug 1 = Spanky (Scenes 1 and 3)
Thug 2 = Rexy (Scene 2)
Thug 3 = Collen (Scene 3)
Thug Boss = Betty (mostly voiceover, but all scenes)
Driving Teacher = Flite (Scene 1)
Driving Student = Cthemall(Scene 1)
Chinese Sounding Narrator = Spanky (voiceover, but all scenes)

Props needed:
Several S2000s
Fake guns
Fake Blood
Fortune Cookies

Equipment needed:
Two HD cameras (Kent and Mike?)
Lots of camera Batteries
Two suction camera mounts
Thinking of a mic boom pole (if I can make one)
broom (day 2)

 

Hmm, let's see.

- Steve would likely be the best for Thomas Magnum.
- Taka (based on his pics) would make a good Rick.
- Kent would make an excellent Higgins (with his pet in hand).

Colin and I would make excellent California Avenue hookers for background support cast.









and let's not forget William Shatner guest starring as Abraham Lincoln.

I have a lot of the story written. I think it's enough for a 4-5 minute video. The Magnum PI idea is just a thought, but after watching a show (just now) I'm not sure it's a good idea. The shows have a lot of dialog AND to make it sound authentic, we would need some narration voice over.

 

I'll volunteer the S.. plus if there is a big black guy part.. I'll do that.. I love typecasting myself!

 

Count me in Colin... but I'm not playing the role of the blonde samoan mahu in a g-string again.

Well if we were going to do a Magnum PI thing there is obviously a role. You wouldn't happen to have a helicopter would you?
