Well, I finally downloaded my digital pics from my camera and uploaded them to s2ki.
I wanted to take more pics of Dan's (turbo_pwr) car while I was in NYC, but it was night when we got to his house and his car is black, so the pics didn't come out. I will never forget taking Dan's car for a spin though. I can't believe his car is N/A because it pulls hard!
the NYC gang!
Dan's garage
Dan's personal mechanic making final preparations before ignition.
nice pics minus the half nekkid gay smurfs and the dennis rodman wannabe with the hardhat. glad to hear you had a good time and its nice to see the nyc folks showin some love. its pretty neat how owning an s2k kinda makes you part of a "brotherhood" of enthusiasts. *note to self* i gotta get to nyc someday...

About the brotherhood, I find that the S2000 has one of the best (if not the best) communities out there. We have our share of snobs here too, but most snobs opt for another label like BMW, Porsche, MB, etc...
About the weirdos in NY, it just so happened that the second day that we were there was the Gay Pride parade. Our hotel was in the middle of Manhattan, so we could not escape it. It was huge and it lasted all day.
I've seen the Gay parade from the window of my workplace when I was working in Waikiki and it would last about 20 minutes and have about 10 vehicles total. The only sadder parade is the St. Patrick's Day parade that has about 10 drunk Irishmen on the back of 2 pick-up trucks and lasts about 10 minutes. Definitely not worth the traffic jam that they create.
