if gsp sticks to his game plan, he'll win the fight. he can't box/brawl with diaz.
i really believe he will be able to take diaz down and gnp ftw.

as much as I don't like nick diaz, ill give him his props. his boxing is good and when he gets into a brawl, thats where hes most dangerous.

My thoughts exactly. But he doesn't want to stay on the ground for long with him. Diaz's BJJ is dangerous and in the beginning of his career, he'd pull off so many submissions out of nowhere. That was his main fighting style. He's just so stubborn nowadays, he wants to stand and bang and leave his submissions as "Plan B." GSP needs to throw lots of leg kicks which Diaz is not good at defending and with enough, will hurt Diaz and weaken his foundation. Take down, a little GnP, get back up, and keep the distance. He still has to be extra cautious because Diaz can read his opponents well and slip things in between.

The fight between Diaz and Penn, the main factor was size. Diaz is a natural 170 and Penn is a natural 155. Same factor will apply between a fight between GSP vs. Anderson Silva. GSP wouldn't stand a chance in that fight. If they were all the same weight and size those fights would be much closer.
