why what happened?

 

it was on the news that the oil pan fell off and spilled oil everywhere!!! but its more like the oil filter undid it self and blew oil. the oil pan would hang on with all of the bolts off!

 

watch ch2 news now! (fox) it should be on again!

My engine bay caught on fire. All the oil leaked out. Now, my VTEC "harness" wire is almost toast. (BTW, is it easy to replace? There is a wire that connects the VTEC solenoid to the top of the engine)

My friend replaced oil, filter, washer, etc. He also helped degreased the oil as much as possible. Everytime I drive, the car stinks of burnt oil. Is this going to happen for forever?

 

i think that harness is easy to replace. worst case you just have to wire it in but thats cake. so your oil filter undid itself right? you probably need to take off your heat shield and clean the headders and the shield.

 

Well, I'll put it this way: I don't think it's the oil pan..

Do you think people in Hawaii will hate me? I'm so scared driving my car. Tonight, for instance, I heard some thump on the rear of my car, thinking that someone threw a can at my car.

Anyways, I just want to bury myself in sand for what happened... That's why I don't feel like talking much about it. IT WAS EMBARRASSING!!
