CAUTION: LONG STORY.

Ok so here's what happened to me tonight...

Taka dropped me off at the dorms at about 1:30AM, a little later than usual, and as soon as i step out of the car, i put my hand over my pants pocket to feel for my phone and S*H*I*T!, it ain't there. taka drives away.

so i think to myself: ok, i have my car keys, i can just walk to my car in the morning (ALL the way at hawaiian studies), call taka from my roommate's dorm phone, and pick up my phone.

i walk around the corner of the building to the front door and see 4 idiots waiting for someone to let them into the building. i STARE at each one of them. i know they're going to follow me in and if they steal sht, i can tell the popo what they looked like. after eyeing them out, i slip my key (a flat magnetized key) into the metal slot and try to push it up, but goddamit it doesn't want to push up that extra centimeter to unlock the door! the people watching me 6 inches behind my back go WTF??? and i'm like my key doesn't work. one of the guys tries it and still nothing. one of the girls tells me i have a nice bag. i say thanks and curse the world. i try it again and booooooooooo i want to punch someone's eye out!

all 5 of us wait in front of the door for someone else to let us into the building. someone shows up and i go in first to try my key for the elevator lock. NOTHING!!! WTF am i gonna do now? i KNOW it's not going to open my room door lock, but i head up with everyone else anyway.

i get to my room, doesn't work. i knock and knock and ring the doorbell hoping my roommate is home...she's not. i want to cry. i bang my head on the door. ow it hurts. i check my wallet to see if i have 50 cents for the pay phone outside the front door downstairs. I do. I go downstairs knowing I

 

wait a minute, taka doesn't walk you to your door? or at least wait for you to safely get into the lobby? hmmmmm.....

 

poor t-rex. i hate dorms too.

it's all taka's fault for leaving you without waiting.

wow, you know what i realized? taka used to put the car in park, get out, then kiss me goodbye. now he just sits there and says "ok bye."

hahahahaha. nah it's ok. you don't have to get out. just FIND ME AN APARTMENT!

 

^oh man...I'm sorry to hear that T-rex...have you stolen the spare key yet?

 

not yet. i'm still getting ready to leave. but i'm thinkin how am i gonna get the key, check to see if it works, then walk back PAST the front desk to go to my car without them noticing me...maybe i'll just have them key me up at 2 in the morning again. i hope they're sleeping. and i'm just lazy to go back to my room to check to see if it works. we'll see what i do.

gotta drive to waianae today...gosh...

 

give them back the broken one. just tell them it's the spare.
