Depending on what your budget is, Ducati Seattle has a SWEET deal on a lightly used '08 1098S. Thing has less than a thousand miles on it and IIRC they wanted about $16K. Lots of carbon on it as well.

That is basically what my buddy Rick rides. The sound OK with the Termi kit, but the handling is what the 848 is all about. You should come down to the Jamba Juice/Starbucks/Wahoo's this Sunday morning around nine o'clock. Several of us will be meeting up there to ride, and you can check his, and my SC, out before we go.
