make sure your headlight is 22". dont go all slammed out tucking lip..
Tires have lots of thread.
alignment
be on time / a little early for your appointment, dont be late
make sure your car look presentable aka give it a nice wash and clean / tidy the inside so it doesnt look all slob status.
and most off all, you look presentable.
i took my friends bmw to get recon and did all of the above, they didnt even do the bounce test because i know in hell it wouldn't not pass it. and i was in and out of there in like 20minutes.
