i'm definitely interested. will be running AEM and need an experienced/proven tuner.

Well then that makes 3 cause I got a cousin on maui that has a 05AP2 thats boosted but has been chillin in his garage since maui doesnt have a dyno anymore. And now that I've picked up a S2, he's just waitin til I get back and am ready to tune my car

 

Sonics has tuned i believe 3 turbo s2k's that make over 400+ whp.

theres great tuners on the island already.

 

I'm aware that there are tuners on the island. After speaking with a few tuners via email and phone. One of the things that all of them agree on, is that just about anyone with a little knowledge can tune for peak power. But drivability and reliability, while getting the most out of your tune is a different story.

I am no where near being a tuner but I value the opinions of those who tune on a regular basis and have tuned more than a handful of s2k's. Not tryin to taking anything away from Sonics or any other tuner in Hawaii, its very possible that they might be great tuners. Its just that I dont know anyone thats been tuned by them...

 

taka and jon are the only ones that i know of...i dont see a reason for me to get an ems cause well im not really running anything besides your basic bolt ons I/H/T/E but since im getting all new stuff from that department i might as well at least get a VAFC or FCON...just not sure if i REAALLLLLY need or should get a standalone EMS

 

i drive my car everyday and i cant say drivablilty is an issue if it were i wouldnt drive it. we flew down a tuner or dynamic's tuner to teach our tuner how to do it. and we have been making good numbers and great drivablilty ever since.

 

i might add that anyone who claims that they are a tuner and their tune comes out with bad drivability, i dont consider a tuner.

 

did you ever hook up with design craft and the ivtec conversion when they came out for spocom hawaii? what do you think taka, you think i should go with VAFC or FCON or get a stand alone/piggyback EMS?
